A quarter cord of wood is one-fourth of a full cord, measuring approximately 4 feet high, 6 feet long, and about 16 inches deep. Made up primarily of 16-inch pieces, it is a manageable supply for lighter or occasional users — a step down from our face cord, but a meaningful upgrade over buying by the bin. It fits standard fireplaces, wood stoves, and fire pits, and is made up of dense, kiln-dried hardwoods for long-lasting, high-heat burns.
Our firewood is loaded, transported, and measured using large reusable bins — each holding 2.25 cubic feet of wood. These bins are how we guarantee you're getting exactly what you ordered. When we arrive, we unload the wood directly from the bins and stack it neatly for you as part of the delivery service. The bins are returned with us when we leave — they don't stay on site. What you're left with is your firewood, stacked and ready to burn.
A quarter cord is the equivalent of 15 reusable bins of wood, or approximately 37 bundles.
