HMS Topaze was a Royal Navy third class cruiser built by Laird Brothers, Birkenhead. An original gun tampion from 1903.

HMS Topaze served in WWl with the Fifth battle squadron and the Mediterranean fleetShe escorted shipping in the Indian Ocean and captured the Ottoman Army garrison on the island of Kamaran in 1917. She was broken up in 1921. Classed as a unofficial gun tampion as it pre dates the standardisation of all Royal Navy badges that came into effect in 1919.
