Not sure whether I like the front or back more on this one--they are very different things! The face I love for the gold stripes against black patterning that looks very much like scales, making the whole thing feel like a snake curled into an oval to me. The reverse revealing its angle cut construction, rectangular recessed frame and  black stencil painted 80 on one side reminds me of a cubist painting, including with the simple string strung across, making it feel almost trompe l-oeiul. If I didn't have the perfect thing to put it in, I'd really be pretty tempted to hang it on the wall back side sbhowing.

12 7/8” x 10 3/4” overall. Rectangular frame opening on reverse: 9 1/8” x 7”. No glass. There are a couple of small dings/cracks to the gold painted inner frame on the front, magnified in photos.
