Before the deep south had a climate controlled stadium with a roof, and served $9 Speights as well as $7.50 moderately hot chips, there was Carisbrook. While I am unsure of the concession prices in late 90s, I can tell you there was no roof or climate control at the old stadium and having lived in Dunedin for a few years I can also tell you that it gets bloody cold in winter. There may not be as much of a need for jackets like this amongst Highlanders fans today, but it still looks cool and thats a good enough reason to own it.
