Purify your drinking water with our Well Pure five-stage Reverse Osmosis purification system. Tap water contains several hundred parts per million (ppm) of contaminants which are deemed to be safe however, over time, these contaminants will build up in your body damaging your health and increasing your toxic load. Our purification system has five filters which remove even the smallest particles including viruses, parasites, bacteria, hormones (mostly Estrogen*) heavy metals, chemicals, and other dissolved substances, impurities are reduced to as little as 8 parts per million, only reverse osmosis can do this. The filters are easy for anyone to change without the need for tools or an expensive service call. 1st stage The first stage hollow fibre filter removes larger contaminant particles and sediments such as sand, silt, dirt, and rust. The filter body is translucent, after just a few days you will see it starting to change colour as it traps these impurities. 2nd stage This filter contains granular activated carbon which removes chlorine, fluoride, trihalomethanes and other similar chemicals. If you are using a filter jug or plumbed filter system without reverse osmosis, this is as pure as your water gets, there are still a lot of impurities to be removed! 3rd stage This filter contains carbon block which removes smaller chemical particles, heavy metals, and odours. The first three stages are designed to protect the reverse osmosis membrane in the fourth stage from getting blocked by all these contaminants. 4th stage Reverse Osmosis filters contain a membrane which is designed so that only certain sized particles can pass through, think of it as a very fine sieve. The membrane in our reverse osmosis filter has a pore size of just 0.0001um and only permits water molecules to pass though which is the key to water purification. Unlike regular filter systems, reverse osmosis filters do not let contaminants through when the filtration surface is full, if the reverse osmosis membrane is blocked, nothing can pass so this protects you from drinking filtered water that you think is safe! Regular filter systems trap most contaminants when the filters are new but as more contaminated water passes over the surfaces they become full so less and less can be trapped, this is why these systems do not have onboard ppm monitoring, you would see the number rising (and hence the number of contaminants getting past the filters) after just a few days. 5th stage Here you have options to enhance your purified water to match your health needs. Purified water is stored in an onboard tank ready to be served via the 5th stage filter. Well Pure systems are easy to install by anyone with basic DIY skills, a fitting kit and instructions are included. Installation requires a UK three pin socket power supply. Under the counter installation requires a tap on the counter (not supplied), on the counter installation, water can be dispensed via the onboard faucet. In either installation, a supply can also be directed to an American style refrigerator with an ice maker/chilled water dispenser. Foul water is passed through a series of separation tanks and is then filtered in a series of sand beds which remove most of the solids, it is then treated with Chorine* to kill off bacteria. Estrogen is a female hormone that is released in urine, the recycling and processing of foul water does not remove Estrogen so the concentration is increasing each time water is recycled, that is in our tap water and is unmonitored. Estrogen disrupts our endocrine systems which has many negative effects on our health, especially for men.
