This limited edition is from KANOSUKE's flagship "Kanosuke Single Malt" series, a unique sherry casks expression generously using whiskies aged in two types of sherry casks—Oloroso and Cream.
Kanosuke Single Malt is crafted from whiskies distilled in three pot stills and matured in a variety of casks, including ex-shochu, sherry, bourbon and red wine casks.
Each distinctive character is vatted together, layering the elegance and fineness of Japanese whisky with a richer, mellower flavour.

We have explored Kanosuke’s style of mellowness, while retaining the spicy Japanese "wa" nuance from our shochu casks that is a core part of the Kanosuke profile.
We've also added a touch of new American white oak casks as an essence. The whisky offers an aroma of dark cherry and a rich flavour reminiscent of a fruit pound cake. On the palate, a gentle wave of tropical mangosteen leads to a serene finish, like a sunset by the sea.
