Beautiful Old Painted Iron Boules BallBeautiful surface, wonderful feel in the hand, just a nice thing to set in a bowl or toss around while one is thinking. I think this is an old bocce boules ball, solid steel or iron with incised radial lines and a whitish gray surface. Too satisfying to not bring home with me. 2 7 8" in diameter; weighs 1 lb. 12 oz.. Perfectly aged condition, very early 20th c I believe.
