The Scooter was named after Sparky, who raced a big tyre scooter when he was younger.

This vibrant and lifted Merlot exudes rich plum flavours with undertones of both red and dark fruit and a soft touch of oak. As the wine develops in the glass, layers of chocolate, nutmeg and cinnamon spice come to the fore. The soft mouth-feel and tannin integration allow for all the beautiful flavours of this wine to shine through.

The grapes were grown on the Long Gully Road vineyard in McLaren Vale. Barrel fermented and matured in 96% American and 4% French oak, using 28% new, 31% one year old and 41% two year old barrels.
