Badiola is a winery in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. Founded in 2018 by acquiring an existing winery, Badiola offers village and single vineyard wines that display the freshness, elegance and depth of flavours which distinguish Rioja Alavesa. Made from high quality fruit from hilltop (“Cabezadas”) vineyards on limestone soils.

Slightly muted, developing aromas of grapefruit and lychee. A hint of smoke, especially on the nose.Dry with a slightly furry texture. Medium acidity that balances the wine. Notes of grapefruit, lychee, pear, and muted stone fruit. Short to medium length, dry finish. Even across the tongue.

Pair with grilled seafood, salads, vegetarian dishes, roasted or grilled chicken or tapas.
