Tourmaline gemstones embrace the whole spectrum of the colour range and certain unique stones can even include several colours clearly defined. It shares the October birthstone place with opal and is a durable choice that can be fashioned into many shapes.

When our client told us they wanted a large green tourmaline set in an Art Deco style setting, we looked through a large selection of gemstones to identify several stones that could be the right one for them. With a range of stones to choose from, our client chose a tourmaline to suit the shape of the lady's hand and her lifestyle. We supplied several sets of tapered baguette diamonds, and again the selection pictured to the left was chosen to not only suit the tourmaline but with an eye to how the diamonds would affect the ring size. All elements were now in place to create a ring designed especially for our client.

An Art Deco style ring was designed and our workshop, experienced in recreating period pieces, produced a ring that accurately reflected the era.
