To my eye a complete charmer of a an antique miniature portrait frame-and all the more so for the photo found in it! Purchased the same week that Maggie Smith died, the woman (I think) in this portrait made me think a bit of her, looking none too easy to please! I also like the sort of halo of radial lines surrounding her head, doubled by the hand-painted wreath of flowers granted her by the frame. Great together, but the frame, really a sweet one, could easily be used for another portrait.

As found. Frame: 3" t x 2" w, holding what appears to be its original hand-cut glass; photo 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" oval. All in very good condition.
