Condition: Very good condition. The canvas exterior shows light rubbing to the base corners and pocket edges, and small splits in the canvas near two of the top corners (see photos 10 and 11). The trim has developed a deep honey patina and shows moderate rubbing and darkening to the piping, and moderate creasing and upwards curling to the side tabs. There are two small splits near the base of one of the handles, and the bonded leather that loops around the D-rings has split in some areas (see photos 8 and 9), resulting in weakening to that handle. The handles also have softened from use and show moderate rubbing, creasing, small marks and darkening to the tops from contact. The hardware has moderate gold tone loss and light surface scratches to the zip pull, with light wear otherwise. The interior is in great condition with pen marks to the internal bases of the slip pockets and light wear otherwise.
