Indole-3-Carbinol by NOW® contains extracts from cruciferous vegetables and flax.

WHO research indicates that consuming min. 400 g of vegetables/fruits per day contributes to reducing the risk of a number of chronic diseases, and eating cruciferous vegetables activates enzymes involved in detoxification processes. A popular compound from the indole group: indole-3-carbinol - contained in numerous cruciferous vegetables (Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, kale, broccoli) has the ability to transform female hormones (estrogens) into safe derivatives.

Common flax  (linseed) provides fiber and oil pressed from the seeds. Flax seeds contain natural chemical compounds - phytoestrogens - called lignans. Lignans present in flax and their metabolites can protect and support healthy breast tissue in women as they age and have a beneficial effect on health during menopause. Flax lignans are beneficial for maintaining proper intestinal function, for the health of the stomach and the digestive system.

Ingredients:  cabbage leaf extract (Brassica oleracea): 99% indole-3-carbinol (DER 990:1); flax seed extract (DER 20:1); capsule material: cellulose (hypromellose); subst. filling: rice flour; subst. anti-caking: silicon oxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids.

How to use:  Take 1 capsule daily with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. The product cannot be used as a substitute for a properly varied diet. The product is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Store at room temperature, out of the reach of small children.

The production process did not use any allergens or ingredients:  yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, eggs, fish, crustaceans and tree nuts. Manufactured in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility that processes ingredients of other products containing these allergens.
