Our black cracked leather strap looks great on a beautifully patina-ed watch. The texture of this provides plenty of character to your wrist. The crack line patterns on the strap enhances the look of your vintage watch and makes it look like it practically came from the same era. Taking design cues from classic watch strap manufacturers, we have implemented the classic design of having the stitching at the lugs as well as the tongue end of the strap. These also provide increased durability. In order to achieve the cracked look, the leather had to be treated and specially embossed with a machine to enhance the naturally occurring lines. This process of giving it a "damaged" look is actually incredibly refined and seemingly ironic, but people can't seem to keep their hands off this strap.
