Hyperpigmentation is stubborn to diminish, as it lies deep below the skin’s surface. Using our Scar Light System will exfoliate dead skin layer by layer, allowing brighter, lighter skin to prevail; however, it takes time for this natural remedy to develop. Remember, consistency is key, and sticking to the same product regimen allows your skin to adapt, understand, and process the ingredients with effectiveness. This system can offer some change in as little as 3 weeks, depending on skin type and the severity of your damage, but it’s crucial to continue use for 3 to 6 months for the natural reversal of dark pigmentation. Results will vary based on skin type and lifestyle. Exposing pigmentation to the sun, heat, or heat-related beauty treatments as well as some medications can cancel out the efforts of our Scar Light Kit System. Always remember to use your sunscreen.

 
Scar Light 1 -Vegan                                                                        Kojic Acid 

The Benefits: Scar Light 1 is formulated with Kojic Acid which works in tandem with the powerful papaya enzymes to improve the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation.  Scar Light 1 aids in removing dead skin cells ultimately minimizing hyperpigmentation caused by injury, surgery or sun damage. 

SUITABLE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES. 

Directions:

Use daily AM and PM.

Wet sponge or cotton rounds liberally and swirl about inside the jar until you create a lather. Re-wet the sponge if necessary. Rub onto the scar and leave on for 1-2 minutes then rinse.

Best used on older dark scars. Can be used on fresh scars and acne. 

Use product within 12 months of opening. Do not leave wet sponge in container.

Scar Light 2                                                                                          2% Salicylic Acid

The Benefits: Step 2 is an application of 2% salicylic acid which is safe to use daily and will assist in minimizing the appearance of dark spots by enhancing skin cell turnover and promote exfoliation, thereby uncovering a brighter and more even skin tone. Salicylic acid functions by dissolving dead skin cells and excess sebum, both of which can contribute to the visibility of dark spots. 

Directions: Use Daily AM and PM

Depending of size of area make a 2-4 leaf clover by tipping the bottle onto a cotton round and apply to hyperpigmentation. *Use once daily until tolerance builds, then increase to twice daily.

Follow with Scar Light 3.

Discontinue use if skin becomes sensitive.

Scar Light 3                                                                                        Pure Hyaluronic Acid

Directions: Use daily AM and PM. Squeeze 2-4 drops in palm of hand and apply to hyperpigmentation.  Discontinue use if skin becomes sensitive.

Directions:Cleanse Skin. Apply textured side of pad to desired areas. Let dry. Follow with other amazing Scar Food products such as Scar Light 3, and Scar Soothe and Scar Butter to lock in moisture for maximum benefit. Start with 2 x a week and work up to every other day. 

Avoid use of retinols, or direct sun exposure when using peel products. Always use Sun Screen during the day.
