This is due to the maximum number of Grade 10 steel balls. The MAX bearing uses CRC marine grease, which ensures maximum protection, even against saltwater. The LLU seals offer maximum protection against the elements. These contact seals are ideal for suspension pivots or headsets that are constantly exposed to salt, sweat, and dust. The improved sealing and the two "lips" help retain 90% of the grease used on the bearings, preventing moisture and providing continuous lubrication to the balls and ball race.
