I believe it once wound up with a key and would roll along mechanically, but now it just sits all the better to snuggle with, I'd say! A charmer. And it's metal wire tail does flip back and forth or stand straight up. C. 1940s I believe, likely made in Japan. 4 3 4" l x 2"

4 3/4" l x 2" tall not including tail in either case. Much battered, but all the better for it, stable now.
