This piece celebrates the neon sign of the Pink Poodle motel, originally built in 1976. Nominated as a Queensland Heritage icon by the National Trust, the sign was saved when the motel was demolished in 2004. It now stands in Fern Street, Surfers Paradise, close to its original location.
