About the product: For this small batch blend we first blended a set of barrels just like we do for our barrel strength Bourbon releases, we created a blend that would be enhanced by secondary aging in toasted barrels. This small batch Bourbon is a blend of high and low Rye mash bill Bourbons from distilleries in both Kentucky and Indiana then finished in toasted barrels a little over 4 months. We tasted the barrels on a regular basis and once we were excited with the balance of dark fruit, toffee, toasted marshmallow and sweet wood spice we then batched the toasted barrels together to create our first ever toasted barrel finished small batch Bourbon.
