A Traveler's Notebook isn't disposable, even if it gets beaten up. The leather cover is extremely durable, and the smaller parts are all replaceable with a Traveler's repair kit.

These are the new Repair Kits, introduced in spring 2023 with new colors for the elastic bands. The new Repair Kit #009 features five standard colors of elastic that match Traveler's Notebook covers: black, brown, camel, blue, and olive. Repair Kit #010 contains five contrast colors: red, orange, green, gold, and cerulean.

Both sets include two replacement bookmark strings, made from waxed thread in black and brown, plus a replacement tin fastener.

Even if your elastic is still holding strong, consider picking up the repair kit so you can customize your notebook with a fresh color or an extra bookmark.
