The Art of Horsemanship written around 350 BC by Xenophon, a student of Socrates and accomplished cavalryman. Some 2300 years after it was written this book is considered the earliest known works on caring for and riding horses.
Wild horses in their natural given environment are the best of teachers for anyone wishing to truly understand the “art” of horsemanship. However it is quite astounding that these original works are still celebrated by many today.
