Nose and Tasting Notes

These barrels are aged in the heat and humidity of Memphis, Tennessee, along the winding bluffs of the Mississippi River. These conditions allow for a slow and thorough cooking process, resulting in a deep infusion of flavor into the oak. This Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is made with 95% rye and 5% malted barley, aged for a minimum of three years, and bottled at 93 proof without filtration. On the nose, vanilla and spice are prominent, followed by a crisp and refreshing body with notes of apple, cinnamon, and oak. The finish is smooth and lingering, with hints of vanilla, apple, and spice.
