The higher the ABEC class, the greater the precision, efficiency, and speed capacity, but the highest ABEC classes are not necessarily the fastest rotating components. ABEC 3 standard. Depending on their application, these bearings use LLU or LLB seals; even when marked with 2RS. LLB: Our most popular seal, consisting of a rubber finish with a metal core. Unlike the standard 2RS, we go a step further by machining a recess in the inner ring, where the seal can rotate with excellent efficiency and resistance to a lesser bearing. Rather than a single "lip" of a thick seal rubbing against an uneven surface, the LLB type uses 2 sealing lips, thin as a razor blade that slides into a recess with light contact. The outer "lip" keeps water and impurities out, while the inner seal retains grease for smooth rotation and long intervals between maintenance.
