Nurture (formally Birthing Blend) was one of the earliest blends created for myself when I was pregnant with my second child Luna in 2015. I wanted a blend for women to use at the end of their pregnancy, from 37 weeks, to help them feel calmer and more relaxed with the run-up to their due date. This blend contains Clary Sage which is amazing for helping to increase your levels of the hormone oxytocin – which is a hormone that, at the right levels, also stimulates your uterine muscles which can then increase contractions.

I used this blend alongside practising hypnobirthing, so when used during my labours with Luna and also Juno in 2018, the scent of this blend triggered the relaxing feelings I felt during the meditations I had practised. It will also help after the baby has arrived The oils chosen in this blend have also been created to help give you a bit of calm when you're a new mum, tired and hormonal... it's a welcome scent during a wonderful but crazy time.

I now use this scent daily because I love the scent and it helps with my perimenopause symptoms.
