Effects of this medicine
・This medicine blocks the receptor in the brain and suppresses the action of dopamine which transmits the excitatory stimulation on nerves to improve the symptoms of excitement/aggression.
・It is usually used to improve aggressive behavior, psychiatric excitation, wandering behavior and delirium accompanied with cerebral infarction sequelae and treat idiopathic dyskinesia and dyskinesia accompanied with parkinsonism.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, for adults, take 1 to 2 tablets (25 to 50 mg of tiapride) at a time, 3 times a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to age and symptoms of the patient. For dyskinesia accompanied with parkinsonism, the initial dosage is recommended to be started with 1 tablet (25 mg) at a time, once a day.
・Srictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.

・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
・If you have pituitary tumor (prolactinoma).
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Precautions while taking this medicine
・This medicine may cause sleepiness, dizziness/lightheadedness. Avoid operating in potentially hazardous activities such as driving a car.
・Intake of alcohol may enhance the effect of this medicine. Refrain from drinking alcohol while taking this medicine.
