A refined relic of the grand opera era, this pair of vintage French theater glasses was crafted in Paris by Audemair around the turn of the century.
Made of solid brass and clad in luminous hand-cut mother of pearl, they were designed to accompany formal evenings at the Palais Garnier or the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées.
The focusing wheel moves smoothly and the optics remain impressively clear for their age. The original gold-braided cord is intact, showing only gentle wear consistent with time.
A subtle patina on the brass highlights its age and authenticity.
