Composition:
2 Matatabi sticks

Indication(s):
For cats with:

• Aggression
• Inappropriate urination/defecation
• Destructive behavior (scratching furniture)
• Excessive meowing
• Excessive licking or hair pulling (hairballs!!)

For frustrated cats.

Matatabi provides distraction in certain situations such as during travel or moving, after a family expansion, or during a stay at a boarding facility or at the vet's.

Properties per ingredient:
The Matatabi tree is related to the Kiwi tree and grows in Asia, particularly in China and Japan. The dried branches of this tree have a very special effect on cats. They contain a substance that cats like, which relaxes them and sometimes even causes a mild hallucinogenic effect.

Matatabi contains Actinidine and Matatabi lactone. These are alkaloids with a mild chloroform or alcohol-like effect that influence nerve stimulation in the brains of Felidae.

It is often observed that cats that are naturally relaxed and calm show less interest in the sticks than cats that are under stress.

Dosage and application:
You can give Matatabi as a toy. Cats play with the stick, some chew on it or bite it into pieces.

Many cats will roll and rub in places where the stick or its remnants have been.

If the bark of the stick is removed, the effect is even greater.

Side effects: there are no harmful side effects. Some cats can react very unusually to the sticks. For example, some owners reported that their cat seemed "ecstatic" with pleasure, and some cats also drool (slightly). This is harmless.

Dosage:
Do not give more often than two to three times a week, as habituation may occur and the sticks will become less interesting. Remove the stick once the cat has finished playing.
