Safe and precise heating output control with many applications. Control heating and cooling with this fully programmable touchscreen controller, with single and three phase 30A power outputs (typically used for heating), and 120V single phase output (typically used for cooling). For heating, can be used with our 2000W, 4500W, 5500W or 9500W (3 Phase) electric, stainless water heating elements. All components over 12V are cULus certified and controllers are inspected by CSA or ETL/Intertek under Canada's SPE1000.

This wall-mounted brewery power controller is contained in a splash-proof polycarbonate enclosure and comes with a powerful, programmable, touch screen controller that can regulate all process aspects as well as storing multiple programs for repeat use. It uses SSR (solid state relays) for controlling the amount of power going to heaters, has a sensor port for connecting the standard BREWHA digital (DS18B20) sensor cable, a pump power cord (with optional automatic level control switching), and a 120V chiller power cord (5-15r) for automatically controlling a solenoid for tap water or pump for cooling water, or the brewery Water Chiller for cooling during fermentation. The larger models (2 element and larger) come with a cooling fan.

The pump switch is a three way switch; on/off control, and a third 'Auto' control. The 'Auto' setting is for use with an optional 'Water Level Sensor' that can be purchased here which will automatically turn the pump on or off if the sensor tips are in or out of water (control adjustment can be made to the controller to stop the pump when either in or out of water). This is a helpful safety feature when mashing for example, to ensure the pump does not empty out the fermenter and expose the heaters in the event of a stuck mash. The Water Level Sensor comes with 12' of 14AWG SOOW and an Ml3-15 connector can be purchased here. The 3Ph single heater controller is fan-cooled and designed for heating a single 9500W heater in the Hot Water Tank. It does not include a level sensor, pump output, alarm or chiller relay and should be hard wired by an electrician into a junction box.

Single element enclosures are rated NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3S, 4, 4X, 12 and 13. Due to the cooling fan shrouds (on 1.5BBL BIAC controller and larger) all other enclosures are rated 1, 3R, and 12.

North American controllers are CSA or ETL/Intertek certified under Canada's SPE1000 and all controllers are CE tested and compliant.
