Original chromolithograph poster from WWII, “If you tell where he’s going….he may never get there” was commissioned by the Office of War Information, and created by advertising artist John Philips Falter. Similar to the famous slogan "Loose Lips Sinks Ships", the purpose of this poster, with it's handsome, smiling sailor, was to warn the public not to discuss war information.
Posters were originally distributed in the 1940s, by the Office of War Information, with folds, so the creases seen are indicative of its authenticity. The mounting and framing are museum quality. The size is 34" x 25.5".
