The most recent project from husband-and-wife team, Luca Currado-Vietti and Elena Penna (formally of Vietti) produces some of BRIX’s favorite Piedmontese wines. The Nebbiolo is made from grapes harvested from a unique vineyard site in Monforte d’Alba surrounded by unmatched biodiversity and clay and limestone soils. The vines cascade down from the church of San Sebastiano towards the only natural lake in the Langhe. This is a ‘baby Barolo’ style with substantial young tannin, with polished berry notes and an herbal touch.
