Antique Iron Shot, Presumed Revolutionary War EraI found this old iron shot in Maine, and the irregularity of its shape, the lack of seam from casting, and the character of the surface suggests to me that it is Revolutionary War era. I think its pretty cool to have things around that connect one to the days of revolution, and also like that it looks a bit like a miniature rusty globe! Approx. 1 1 2" diameter, weighs 6 oz.
