Asian Myrrh ResinMyrrh ( mr ; from Aramaic, but see Etymology) is a natural gum or resin extracted from a number of small, thorny tree species of the genus Commiphora. Myrrh resin has been used throughout history as a perfume, incense, and medicine. Best used when it's burned onto an activated charcoal disk, placed onto an electric burner, or simmered in a pot of warm water for fragrance. Storer in a jar or bag for freshness and to extend shelf life.
