The 25th annual release of Alameda based St. George Spirits Single Malt may be the best one yet. DIstilled from 100% malted barley aged in several cask types,* Lot 25 includes some of the very first single malt ever distilled by St George over 25 years ago. The nose presents scents of creme brulee, peach, sandalwood, orange zest, and marzipan. On the palate, look for flavors of cocoa, cherry cola, peanut brittle, nutmeg, and marzipan.

*Lot 25 is distilled from two-row barley malt roasted to various levels combind with unroasted Bamber barley malt that is smoked over alder and beech wood. Primarily aged from 5-13 years with older whiskey in the blend, Lot 25 maturation casks include ex-Bourbon and ex-Rye American Oak casks and ex-Apple Brandy, ex-rum, ex-Port, and ex-Sauternes French Oak casks.
