How could I resist this??? Though this old stork has lost his body, I think the bobble head is pretty fabulous  just on its own. I'd certainly love to see it inspire a whole new creation, though I'd probably find a good spot for it just as is. I believe it is made of papier mache, and the there are a few cracks on the top of the top hat, but the paint remains bright and all the better for some wear, and the spring is springy, making him bobble still!

I's guess this head dates to sometime 1920s-40s. It measures 4 1/2" tall x 2 5/8" wide x 1 5/8" deep.
