I've got a weakness for drawings of old ships, and this one struck me because it seemed ironic that such a bucolic looking boat would be called the Defender. A little research reveals that the Defender, a J Class racing yacht co-owned by William K. Vanderbilt, was in fact the 1895 America's Cup winner. Perhaps Vanderbilt, skipper Henry C. Haff, and co-owners Edwin Dennison Morgan and Charles Oliver Iselin are among tiny figures aboard it here! 

There is a repaired tear straight down the middle fold line, mended carefully on the back with clear tape, and other along the left portion of the horizontal fold line. A little tearing around the edges too. But still, a lovely small drawing. 6 15/16" x 6 3/8".
