• This technique is often used with early stage cold symptoms, trauma, and long term pain. The clinic intern practitioner will use the 7-star needle to lightly tap on the affected area, rather than inserting a single needle into the area.
• Seven-star needling is part of cutaneous or superficial needling therapy. It is performed by gently tapping on an area of the body. It is considered to be non-invasive and is well suited to pediatric and elderly patients.

• Seven-star needles are most commonly used to treat headache, insomnia, facial paralysis, peripheral neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, gastric disease, and baldness.
