The Sailor Wrist Warmers are a new knit by Mad Jessie. Designed as part of a collaborative process by MJ from Mad Jessie and Caroline from Speak in Stitches over a year, these Wrist Warmers are designed to go with the Sailor Hats as a set, or just as a pair of gorgeous Wrist Warmers! 

Inspired by MJ's childhood in County Galway (sailing on a Galway Hooker as a three year old), her Grannies knitted jumpers, and a trip to the Shetland Islands, MJ sat down and designed her second ever knitting pattern, reminiscent of Faire Isle patterns. (Her first she did as a child with her Grannies). These Wrist Warmers are about family, adventure, and strength.

With layers of yarn, she tells a story in this design, of a beautiful sail boat moving along the waves so you can always keep moving forward, this piece of Irish design is very special indeed.

These wrist warmers are the result of a beautiful collaboration between two friends and businesswomen, MJ and Caroline.
