This chunky mohair cardigan is a delight to wear — warm, yet incredibly lightweight. The pattern is fully supported by a line drawing that displays all stitch counts. Refer to this illustration throughout each step.

Yarn & colors
You knit with 2 strands of MYPZ Chunky Kidmohair dk: 1 strand Off White + 1 strand scrap yarn (different colors and lengths tied together)

Half of it is worked in white, and the other half consists of leftover
yarn pieces tied together.

Why does this kit include 400 g of scrap yarn when you only need 200–350 g?
Because we only offer scrap yarn bundles in 400 g due to the time and effort involved in creating them. You can also use your own leftover yarn and simply add the Off White balls from MYPZ. Just make sure the yarn thickness is similar and matches our gauge.

COLOUR USE
You always knit with two strands held together — one strand is always white.
The second strand is made from various colours, created by tying together leftover yarns. Note: Regularly add a white scrap strand into your mix as well!

JOINING SCRAP YARN:
Tie different strands together using a magic knot — this means you won’t have to weave in all the ends later. Make sure the knot is pulled very tight, otherwise it may loosen over time. Our Chunky Kidmohair DK works perfectly for this technique!
However, if you use a smooth, non-hairy yarn, the knot may slip more easily — keep that in mind.
