Chain Container
As a great all-round motorized hoist, the Shopstar includes a slack chain container as standard when purchased from LES USA, this ensures that the excess chain is neatly stored away from causing danger or damage to the operator and the load.

Ergonomic & Safe
Thanks to built-in overload protection via a slipping clutch, the hoist is protected against accidental overload, meaning not only is the operator protected against a potential disaster but the hoist service life is also increased since mechanical components are protected against accidental over-stressing and potential failure.

Built To Work
CM Shopstar features an H4 duty motor with a duty cycle of 300 motor starts per hour, meaning you can get the best out of your hoist, even when the going gets tough. A lifetime lubricated gear train combined with a totally enclosed hoist frame provides superior protection and low maintenance.

Single or Double Reeving?
As you can see from the product images, some hoists have a single fall of chain, others feature two falls and are 'double reeved' where the chain reeves in and out of the bottom load hook. This double reeving occurs to provide a higher capacity to the same size chain diameter so that a higher capacity model can be offered without the need for a larger chain size or larger hoist body (some single reeved hoists can be retro-fitted with double reeving at a later date to provide a higher capacity, please ask our hoist experts for more information).
