This white metal Yin Yang bracelet has been carefully hand crafted in local Nepalese workshops by skilled artisans.  Each piece is individual its presented in a hand made traditional pouch. The pouches were designed to both utilize fabric left after garment production and to generate household employment for Nepali women. The production of these pouches began over 30 years ago and now 15-20 women are in continuous work within this project.

In Ancient Chinese philosophy, yin and yang is a concept of dualism, describing how obviously opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another.
