AtlasIED 1544BAS 4-Channel Backup Amplifier Switching Module with PoE

The AtlasIED 1544BAS is a compact, network-enabled amplifier switching module designed to enhance system reliability in commercial AV installations. Capable of switching up to four speaker loads from a primary amplifier to a backup, this unit ensures uninterrupted audio delivery during amplifier failure. It operates in two modes—stand-alone via logic inputs or network-controlled through the GLOBALCOM® supervision sub-system.

Each of the four channels can be individually managed, and in network mode, multiple 1544BAS units can route multiple primary amplifiers to a shared backup. Power is delivered via IEEE 802.3af PoE or an optional +48VDC supply. Channel and power status LEDs provide instant visual diagnostics, and the rugged housing supports DIN-rail or panel mounting near amplifier racks for efficient deployment.
