Dani Ives is an artist who uses needle felting techniques to "paint with wool." Her work focuses on creating emotional connections between humans, animals and the natural world. She lives in Northwest Arkansas with her husband and her dog, June Bug. When she's not needle felting, you'll find her working in her sketchbook, reading, or hiking the forest trails near her home.

This piece is from Dani's ETA34 collection. In Dani's own words: "I created this series of Birds in Aura as a playful collection of birds enveloped in their own atmosphere of color that evokes a sense of connection between the natural world and a broader, ethereal context."
