The Virgin's clothing is the result of an excellent handmade decoration, with a gradation of color ranging from white to light blue. Below you can see the Virgin's foot crushing the snake's head, a symbol of victory over evil. This representation evokes the apparition of the Virgin to St. Catherine Labour, also visible on the medal.
