The measurements are based on the size of the sweater after washing. The fit of the sweater is suppose to be oversized.

Material

Organic merino DK from Thelma Steimann, the yarn is 100% Organic merino wool. Approx 225m/100g in each skein. Wonderful and soft base to work with

Circular needle 4 mm in 40 & 80 cm.

Circular needle 3,5 mm in 40 cm.

5 x DPN in 3,5 mm.

Tapestry needle for stitching the threads, stitch marker, 2 x large safety pins and crochet needle.

Tension gauge sample

Make sure to check your own tension before starting to knit.

Cast on 21 stitches and knit 29 rows on needles 4 mm for  a 10 x 10 cm sample.

If tension measures too tight, change to a thicker needle.

If tension measures too wide, change to a thinner needle.

Good to know

The sweater is knitted from top to bottom, starting on the neckline and knitting the yoke, the yoke is divided into body and sleeves, and knitted separatly in round from  there.

Yarn quantity required is based on an average , and is therefore an approximate number. The sweater can be knitted in any yarn that consists of the same thickness as Organic merino DK, and the colour combination is not set in stone.
