Inside the crown of the hat it  is stamped "Made Exclusively for Robertson's of Swan Street, Brechin" and shows Tress & Co.'s royal warrant 

The outside of the hat is in very good condition, but there is a small depression or shallow dent on the top of its crown 

It has its original ribbon band
