The Fisher Gold Bug Pro DP is engineered for serious gold prospectors, relic hunters, and detectorists working in challenging ground. Operating at 19 kHz, this detector is highly sensitive to small gold nuggets and low-conductivity targets while still offering strong performance for relics and coins. With real-time computerized Ground Grab® ground balancing, 2-digit numeric Target ID, Fe readout, VCO audio, discrimination, pinpoint mode, and an 11" DD searchcoil, the Gold Bug Pro DP is built for accuracy, depth, and control.
The Gold Bug Pro DP runs at 19 kHz, giving it strong sensitivity to small gold nuggets and other low-conductivity targets. This makes it a strong option for prospecting, relic sites, and mineralized soil where target separation and sensitivity matter.
The DP package includes an 11" DD searchcoil. Compared with smaller coils, the 11" coil is designed for better depth and broader sweep coverage, helping you search more ground efficiently while still maintaining good performance in mineralized conditions.
Computerized Ground Grab® ground balancing helps the Gold Bug Pro DP adapt to mineralized soil and changing terrain. Manual ground balance control also gives experienced users the ability to fine-tune performance in difficult ground.
The digital display provides numeric Target ID from 0 to 100 along with Fe readout information. This helps users evaluate target response and ground mineralization while hunting in difficult sites.
Use All Metal mode for maximum sensitivity and Discrimination mode to reduce unwanted targets. Adjustable discrimination from 0 to 80 helps you tune the detector for your search conditions and target goals.
Non-motion pinpoint mode helps you locate targets more accurately before digging. Depth information is available through pinpoint mode, helping make recovery faster and more efficient.
The 19 kHz frequency provides strong sensitivity to small gold nuggets and low-conductivity targets.
The DP package gives you an 11" DD coil for depth, coverage, and serious field use.
Computerized ground balancing helps handle mineralized soil and changing terrain.
Numeric Target ID from 0 to 100 gives more information before you dig.
Fe readout helps evaluate ground mineralization and target response in difficult conditions.
Target-responsive VCO audio helps communicate target strength and response.
Weighs only 2 lbs 8 oz, helping reduce fatigue during longer hunts.
Runs on one 9V alkaline battery with approximately 15 to 20 hours of battery life.
