This is what the 3M cotton line was built for. A cream ground with the kind of pile depth you actually notice walking across the room barefoot — not the dense thudding weight of a hand-knotted wool piece, but a softer, more cushioned feel that comes from premium cotton woven at three million points per square meter. The raised-pattern technique lifts the medallion-work just above the field so the carpet reads as relief rather than flat print.

Designer pairing

Cream is the palette that absorbs whatever the room wants to be. Pair with white-oak floors, a linen sectional, brushed-brass picture lights, and natural fibre window treatments for a transitional read. Or anchor it with a dark walnut coffee table and warm-toned art for a more classical reading. Care

Not machine-washable. Cotton hand cleans more easily than wool pile: wipe surface with a slightly damp soft cloth, blot fresh spills with a clean cloth within seconds. Low-pressure vacuum at the upholstery setting. Avoid agitation and beater bars. Professional cotton-safe cleaning every 18–24 months.

Family / lifestyle

Cotton pile releases pet hair more readily than wool — a quick low-pressure vacuum lifts it without effort. Stain-resistant to fresh spills if blotted within seconds. The light cream ground does show wear faster than darker palettes; appropriate for households that can keep light-ground textiles clean. A rug pad is recommended in dining rooms or under sofa legs to protect the cotton from chair-leg wear.
