Swedish modern black flower ball vase by Harald Notini, designed in 1934. The vase was made by Pukeberg's Glass Factory for Arvid Böhlmark's Lighting Factory. A true functionalist gem. Unsigned, pontil mark.

Harald Elof Notini (1879 - 1959)

Harald Notini was a Swedish interior architect, designer and sculptor.  He studied at the Higher Art Industrial School in the early 20th century and then continued his training in Germany and France. After finishing his eduction he worked as a Designer at Arvid Böhlmark's Lighting Factory and Pukeberg's Glass Factory. Notini had three patents in the field of lighting technology. He participated in Decorative Arts Exhibitions in Stockholm, Malmoe, Gothenburg and Paris. Notini is represented at the National Museum, Stockholm.
