White stoneware clay with 40% impalpable grog (up to 80 Mesh).

This clay body is a studio staple, grog this fine can't be felt, the clay feel is as smooth as butter. It has been specifically developed for wheel-throwing and can also be used for modelling smooth pieces with fine details.

It has extremely fast drying times, greatly reducing kiln scheduling. NB: You can, like normal, wrap/cover unfinished pieces to delay drying as well.

The high content of grog confers an excellent behaviour during drying and firing. Its particular ivory colour after firing is much appreciated and provides an excellent ware for glazes and colouring oxides. Colouring oxides develop bright and intense tones on this body.

Suitable for tableware (food-safe) according to ISO6486.

Available in an extruded body.
