No, the auto waste packing process requires users to be present next to the device. You can start the auto-packing by pressing the button on the OLED screen. The process includes:

• Auto-packing
• Auto-sealing
• Removal of the trash bag
• Auto-bagging

Once a sealed trash bag is ready, you need to remove it. The next auto-bagging cycle will not initiate until the trash bag is removed, and you double-click the OLED button to restart.

2. Can I use a generic trash bag for auto waste packing?

No, the auto-packing system requires PETKIT’s exclusive refill rings, which are designed for a seamless fit to ensure smooth operation. Using generic trash bags may lead to malfunctions.

3. How often should I replace a refill ring?

Each refill ring can pack approximately 10 times, and the waste bin can hold one cat’s waste for up to 20 days. This is based on PETKIT lab tests with a single adult cat. The replacement frequency may vary depending on the number of cats in your household and their litter usage patterns.

4. How often should I pack the waste?

The waste bin supports up to 20 days of scoop-free usage for one cat under standard conditions. However, in hot and humid environments, we recommend packing the waste more frequently to maintain freshness.

5. Why is there a large space inside the trunk?

The large space inside the trunk of PUROBOT ULTRA is designed to accommodate the auto-packing system. The packing module lifts up during operation to ensure proper and successful packing of waste.

6. Does PUROBOT ULTRA have a weight limit?

Yes, we recommend a minimum weight of 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs) and a maximum weight of 10 kg (22 lbs).

7. Can kittens use PUROBOT ULTRA?

We don’t recommend using PUROBOT ULTRA for kittens under 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs) or younger than 6 months, as they might not trigger the weight sensors. For kittens above 1.5 kg, we suggest activating Kitten Protection Mode, which disables auto-cleaning and periodic cleaning to ensure safety.

8. Is PUROBOT ULTRA safe for my cats?

Yes, safety is a top priority. PUROBOT ULTRA is equipped with the XSecure Safety System, which includes:

• X-axis rotation: Ensures the entrance stays open at all times.
• 20 high-precision sensors: Including proximity and weight sensors that stop the device from operating when a cat is inside or nearby.

9. What types of cat litter should I use for PUROBOT ULTRA?

PUROBOT ULTRA includes two sifters and is compatible with most clumping cat litters. However, for the best performance, we recommend using cat litter with the following dimensions:

• Width: No wider than 3 mm

• Use fast and tight-clumping cat litter like Pidan Cat Litter.
• Avoid slow-clumping varieties that may leave residues.
• Ensure you are using the recommended litter amount to optimize clumping and reduce mess.

11. How can I train my cat to use PUROBOT ULTRA?

• Place PUROBOT ULTRA where your previous litter box was located.
• Use the same type of litter, mixing a scoop of the old litter with the new to maintain a familiar scent.
• Gradually allow waste to accumulate in the old litter box to encourage your cat to explore the new one.

12. How do I update my firmware?
